You can get over a bad experience and move on - here's how

A small fright can be a bad experience for some people while

some others need a great deal of trauma to have the same affect.

It does not matter how big or small the event was in someone

else's mind, it is the anxiety that you feel much later when you

are reminded of it that determines how bad it was to you.

Similarly, bad experiences with other people or with romantic

partners can prevent you from feeling comfortable when dating or

in the company of others at social gatherings, which can stop

you from attracting your soul mate. It is important therefore to

remove as much anxiety as you can using the patting energy

technique.

For this type of anxiety it would be better to use the same

technique as for severe trauma. This involves a special way to

move into the incident by starting before it, not by

going right into what happened. Using the patting energy before

the event controls the anxiety that is felt by recalling the

event ensuring that the process will be gentle and effective.
